Impressed: Yes
Care: Yes. No matter what sport, winning this many consecutive games is remarkable.

LOL, who were they supposed to do it against?

Any team that can win 88 games in a row is impressive. Play in a tough conference and always play many tough teams out of conference.

The streak is good, but then you have to measure up the competition. Are they beating the sisters of the poor? Quality teams game in, game out etc. With that said, still, not losing in that many games is still an accomplishment regardless.

not really. the competition isnt that great when you are a powerhouse like that. the talent pool of top female basketball players is really small so they only go to about 6-8 schools and the rest are average teams at best. it's not an easy task to win that many in a row but how many are against terrible competition?

doesnt matter if its women or men. its watching 2nd/3rd rate basketball, thats why no one cares. i believe if they could play the game as well as men, they could have alot of sucess. but everytime i see a game, its a slower, worse, somewhat amateur version of mens college ball or NBA. has nothing to do with gender. just the sport and at what level its played at.

Jack didn't ask if anyone cares, just if its impressive. Problem is, because someone doesn't care, thats why they don't think its impressive, for the most part. I think its impressive, but I really don't care because I dont follow womens basketball. Its like if Jimmie Johnson won 15 straight Nascar races next year, that would be a very impressive feat, but I wouldn't care because I don't watch Nascar.

But Ill stick to what I said earlier, anyone(team or individual) who can win 88 straight games at their sport is an impressive feat, I dont care what level its at...

it's like saying I beat my kid brother (if I had one) in one on one (hoops) for 12 stright years...

This is only an impressive feat for HCD...

its reminds me of the womens hockey at the olympics. they play the round robin for no reason. they watch canada and usa beat teams by 10 + goals and they both meet for the gold medal game. sometimes you ask whats the point.

it would be like adding 100 more teams to MLB and having no salary cap and the yankees/red sox feasting on Double A teams.
