but not the point

a celebrity is still a celebrity---maybe not a list

but the thing is they don't even market him...their new pro bounty tournament shows pictures of the pros that are in it and have their names under their pictures...you can't even make out who he is or the name below the picture...only way you find out who that is is when you go to that tournament page on their web site and see who it is...so not really marketing him...didn't know he played there until yesterday.

a lot of 'pros' go 'unmarketed' at ftp since their are so many

don't 'hear' or know much about UB

* Nicknamed "Yukon Brad"
* $620,000 in lifetime tournament winnings
* Finished 3rd in the 2006 $10,000 No-Limit Hold ‘em Mandalay Bay Poker Championship

Brad Booth plays online at Full Tilt Poker.

You won’t find too many world-class poker pros that jump-started their poker career by delivering pizzas – but Brad Booth is one of them.

Brad’s path to poker mastery began with a delivery job. After a night spent delivering pizza around his native Vancouver, Brad was often able to scrape together enough dough to buy into the $4/$8 Limit Hold ‘em games in his local card rooms.
Brad Booth

His dedication to hitting the felt soon paid off in spades. Even though Brad never read a single poker book while learning to play, the time he put in every night – and the vast experience he gained while doing so – turned him into a formidable player.

Based on his success in cash games, Brad decided to enter the tournament circuit in 2005. His expertise was quickly rewarded by an impressive number of back-to-back cashes. In his first major tournament, the $5,000 Short-Handed No-Limit Hold ‘em event at the 2005 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Brad placed 12th, cashing for nearly $17,000. This was quickly followed in October by a second-place finish in the Bellagio Festa Al Lago $2,500 No-Limit Hold' em tournament, where he netted nearly $88,000. In December, Brad cashed for almost $50,000 more in the Five Diamond World Poker Classic.

Brad continued his hot streak in 2006, with a string of five-figure cashes in World Poker Tour events. In June of that year, he scored his biggest success to date, finishing third in the $10,000 No-Limit Hold' em Mandalay Bay Poker Championship and taking home almost $320,000. Since then, Brad has had several more impressive finishes in large tournaments, most notably a fifth-place finish in the 2007 National Heads-Up Championship broadcast on NBC.

From his humble beginnings as a pizza delivery guy, Brad has turned into one of the most skilled players on the tournament circuit – showing just how far dedication, passion, and experience can take you in poker.

Look for Brad playing online at Full Tilt Poker.
