Unfair pay scale in the NHL?

A report today said that NHL goalies net less pay than scorers & defenseman. This is troubling to me because I can't understand how you can expect to have a good hockey team without a good goalie? At the very least the payscale should be even..*

Any different than say CC or any other starting MLB pitcher who goes every five days vs. a Pujols or similar player who goes almost everyday.

Similar to suspensions....sp gets 5 games or a starting 1b gets 5. Who gets hurt worse?
