Update

I realized that i should have made a new thread to avoid confusion.

Just to update.

I actually shorted some VRSN near the close. It just seems to be having some problems here. Two inside days following a doji, so it can go either way. I'll keep a fairly tight stop around the 32.11 mark.

My other shorts are still doing nicely. MTG had a great day. I took some profits off the table near the close. I also sold more than half my UPFC near the close. FAF had a great down day for me so I decided to cover my entire short position. ORI is basically flat since I shorted it, but it still looks toppy to me, so I have kept my full position short so far, but I'm keeping a close eye on it.

I am still short CHKP as well. It is nearing a moving average squeeze so it could probably go either way. I'm up slightly on it and I'm keeping a close eye on it as well. I may close it out if I dont get some early down action in it tomorrow.

I'm also still long JNPR, I'm very happy with how it has done during some down days, but I have some nice profits in my remaining poosition and it may be topping out short term here so I could close it at anypoint and probably will at the first sign of weakness.

By the way, I may also do a speculative short on BMRN which has been doing great, but it looks like it is having diffuculties taking out its most recnt high which was made during a very impressive breakout. It may be a nice short daytrade. However, my stop would be extremely tight when considering how well this stock has performed lately.

I'm also watching a lot of tech names for possible daytrades on the long side depending on how the market performs.

Beautiful day so far. All my shorts are doing well. Getting a second monster down day out of MTG. UPFC also ticking down nicely yet again. Ori is finally getting a decent drop. My VRSN short is also looking nice.

I'm still short CHKP, but it has held up fairly well during this moving average squeeze. If it happens to hit intraday highs I will cover and take my small profit.

BMRN has worked out even better than I could have expected for a nice daytrade so far.

I have not sold the what remains of my JNPR long position yet. It has actually held up well today. However, if it makes another intraday low I will happily sell and take profits.

Hey LG, stopped home for a minute to catch the market down huge. Grabbed a quick 250 sh shorted of VRSN for a modest $75 gain. Covered just before the bell. Thanks for the heads up. Hate working on days like this when it's easy pickings.
