Va Tech Concert
A special concert for Virginia Tech at the university's Lane Stadium on Sept. 6 will have rapper NAS.
A gunman killed 32 people and himself at Va Tech on April 16. The concert is seen as a way to help the university begin the new school year on a positive note, organizers said Wednesday. Is this a positive note knowing rapper Nas's violent lyrics. Va Tech officials indicate that Nas's presence will add to the event because he can shed light on problems such as the gun violence associated with his own genre of entertainment. OH PLEASE!!! Nas's albums contain allusions to gang and street violence. Students should boycott this concert.
