We stayed at the Marriot. The reefs are unbeleivable if you want to snorkel or dive. Where water shoes if you do as they will eat your feet up. Also if they tell you a storm is coming in later and your renting a pontoon stay close. We rented a pontoon and where gone for about an hour when tropical storm Dean rolled in. 8-12 foot swells couldnt see 3 feet in front of the boat, rain blowing sideways, my wife laying on the floor screaming. I finally somehow made it back and when I did they were fixing to call out help for us. I had never been so scared. But we had a ball.

its close to san diego

you can take a $10 taxi into town , get together withh a couple tourists/split it
cool bar called cabo wabo owned by sammy hagar few others ...
shopping in town for day trips
good fishing , golphing ,

Maui too commercialized.. grenadines just as nice and much cheaper. ( raffles resort canouan )
