Visiting Pittsburgh......

I might be going to Pittsburgh in about three weeks for an extended weekend. I'm really trying to get tickets to the Penguins Red Wings game, but the prices are crazy high. Any suggestions? I tend to wait until the last min when people are trying to get rid of them (ebay). Also I would like to stay downtown at a clean and reasonable hotel.

Any opinions welcomed.

Thanks for the help. People are asking crazy prices for the tickets, so any help is appreciated.

I tend to do that from time to time, but like to know that I'll be in the game too.

You can always get tix's to the game 5 minutes before there walk. Also there are a couple of nice hotels right out in front of the igloo. I cant seem to recall the names but they arent too expensive.

Right across from the Igloo...The Marriot Inn.. Great weekend rates.. Underground Parking... Close to the subway(walking distance) for a quick jump over to the South Side.. reccomend Mario's in the South Side for food or drink.. Walking distance from good beer and pizza from the Marriot .. Forget the name but cant miss it.. One hour away from good skiing and a beer on Zig..
