Wow thats alot of questions

1) & 2) This series is the best of four matches
3) England is hosting, all games there
4) For a drawn series, the best of four games would have to finish, either 0-0, 1-1 or 2-2.
5) Test series starts July 21 and finishes Aug. 22

Hope this helps

a draw series could also be

0-0-4

or 1-1-2 right

Draw individual matches are possible (form the lines they seem even likely)

how is that possible with such high scores in Cricket that an exact tie is the result?? thanks!

match abandonment due to rain...they don't make up rainouts...considered a draw

Correct, esp common in countries where bad weather is an issue.
Also bear in mind, if a pitch is a very good batting wicket, its also common to have draws. Its the best of 4 innings (2 each team sometimes but not always). For one team to win they must dismiss the other team twice (20 wickets). If this isn't achieved the match is a draw. You are confusing a tie with a draw, two totally different things. A tie is when they finish on the exact same score over the 3-4 innings, VERY rare.

so closer to match day would the DRAW line possibly move around quite a bit in a three way line based on the weather forecast and if its good weather at least the Draw price increase?? does that happen..not for the entire series but for that one match?

seems hard to wager on a side for a TEST match one week away....if you know bad weather might case a DRAW and these look like 3 way lines so you would be scxrewed..

* Game Note:Which team will win the 4 game series?***
England v India - 1st Test Game Spread Money Line Total Points
Thu 7/21
England +200
India +280
- Draw +120

Yes, many people bet on the draw based largely on the weather forecast. Bookmakers can be caught out, esp when its not a major test.

In an extreme weather case, sometimes a Test is abandonded. This is when not a single ball is bowled in the match eg all 5 days washed out. In this case its not considered a draw, instead a washout or abandonded match. In this case, which is rare its graded as void.

just one more question!

what did you mean by 5 days? is it always a maximum of 5 days? how does the 4 innings (2 each team) fit into a 5 day schedule?

Yes always a maximum of 5 playing days. It all depends how the game goes, as to how the innings fit in. But the bottom line in order for one team to win they must take 20 wickets.

Theres abit of rain in the 5 day forecast. But they should still get a decent amount of play.
Like I said earlier, often the times you can get inflated prices on the draw are on minor Test matches where Bookmakers attention is elsewhere.
