I know every company at some point has to do this...but this is the most obvious thumbing of their nose at the class action lawsuit they lost that made them provide better benes to their full-time employees..

I know what you are saying, but in a world where a law suit is dropped in a second and insurance cost, both health and liability, are rising every second, why not find a way to make more money to cover the rising cost.

Walmart has already cutdown on jobs by introducing "Self Serve" checkouts.

Great scam they are running.
Get the customers to process their own orders and NOT having to pay them as cashiers.

ikea does this now too....w/ the rouse of "faster" check out for the customer. our manager straight out told us when she was introducing them to employees' that they only provide the illusion of a quicker checkout.

i don't like where this is headed at all.... ****ing war against robots.
