Watching for Monday
If it's an up day:
May buy into EXPD again. Had a long trem triangle breakout recently and has bounced once off the 50 SMA for a huge run before coming down again. Has stayed on or above the 50 since and may be setting up for another nice run. Speculative but I like it. FFIV-- Whodi's been posting about this. Beautiful ascending triangle with a nice break out today. Just wish the breakout volume was better but that might scare out some people Monday and good to buy on a dip. If it's a down day: DOM is in a major downtrend and on it's 3rd or 4th bounce off the 50 SMA resistance. Took a nice hit today on in an up market. Looks like a great short. Volume is generally light so it may not move quickly. Honorary credit to "HAWS" if it works out. He mentioned Domino's and I punched in DOM instead of DPZ NUE Credit to Whodi again. Sitting at what could be a double top. Up big today on light volume. A down market Monday should drive it down hard judging from the prior two days action. Stop loss IMO is just above the 50 SMA @ $56.55 I'm holding 250 shorted sh of AOB @ $9.05. Should go down IMO. Purely speculation. Stop loss @ $9.30 - Just above Thursday's high. Always looking for more. Have a great weekend everyone. Last edited by Goods; 08-24-2007 at 05:21 PM. |

NYX is also hitting 50 day SMA resistance and was weak today considering the nice day in the market. Also has somewhat of a negative tri-star candlestick pattern the past 3 days, although it's not a perfect pattern.
Not to mention it was Jim Cramer's (now abandoned) stock pick of the year in January LOL. Should've shorted it on that alone. Adding this to potential shorts for Monday fo' shizzel. |

careful on NUE. thats not a double top... it's in a downtrend.... actually looks to go down a bit from here, but really it's setting up an inverted h/s so be quick with any shorts there

You may be right Jerome. Merrill Lynch upgrade Friday lead the big gain on NUE. I like it either way if it drops. An inverted H&S formation allows for a couple of points on a short then plenty of room to move after the reverse.
Time will tell. Good eye my man. |
