Weather is nuts in Northern Cali

We just had our third tornado in the northern california in the last 2 weeks. Its been raining and hail the size of quarters thru out the day. We just had another tornado just 10 miles north of where we live. Boston gets record heat and Cali is getting slammed by rain, hail and tornado's. Global warming or is 2012 just closer then we think.

I just read in today's paper we've had 9.5" of rain in May, over 12" for the year. Normal for us is 14.5"/year.

Flooding has been at record levels and our snow run-off is just beginning (Finally hit 70 today). Oh, and the snow melt is coming from 200% of normal snow pack. Where we ride snowmobile we usually ride on 50-60". It's about 120" right now!

Yeah was thinking the same thing. A bit windy this weekend, but haven't seen any rain in awhile.

You guys in Northern California might not have summer weather or if you do it will be real late in the season.

I lived in Daly City for about 8 months. Little culture shock for a Montana boy. Moved out 3 weeks before the big earthquake of '89.

My wife and my 10th anni next year, hope to take her there as I haven't been back since. Cool city.

Things are growing slow for sure. The growing season is changing the farming around here in a big way. I know my plants have no clue what is going on.
