alcohol is 10x more dangerous and harmful to your body...like gerk said, someone who is high and driving is much safer than someone who is plastered

A Canadian perspective so I'm sure it's biased a little because weed is so accepted up here.

1 Which is worse : Without any question booze is the worst and not just compared to weed but to all drugs, alcohol is the worst drug period imo.

2 Which causes more damage: Well without going into too much depth I think we all know the kinda damage alcohol can cause and I think the long term effects of weed haven't been that well researched. I'm in my 50's and come from a blue collar life and I have seen many long time weed smokers and long time drunks and I can tell you there is no comparison, booze ruins people, personally and health wise.

3 Why is alcohol more accepted: The answer escapes me really but I guess the reason is because responsible consumption is accepted and drug sterotypes linger on.


In Canada weed is tolerated and understood a bit better for some reason and people from all walks of life seem to smoke here, politicians doctors lawyers cops and on and on.

Comparisons are endless and thoughts varied but if I had choice I'd rather see people "high" (relaxed) than all gooned up on a 40 oz'er. I have nothing against drinking, I like it myself, but from personal experience (time tested, lol) there is no comparison between weed and the devil liqour. If you smoke too much weed you get a little tired, if you drink too much booze......well the scenarios are endless.

get drunk consistently for 5 years and you won't have a liver. And you'll look like a lush

I choose both although I haven't really smoked in a few months, also anyone who thinks weed makes you stupid is well....stupid

That is like saying alcohol makes you into a violent madman. The drugs don't "make" you anything take some goddamn personal responsibility.
