Weekly Review Nov 13th

Weekly Review Nov 13th

After the NFL started the year with very few upsets, the last month has been a large turn around and this week was no exception. Houston, Cleveland, Jets, San Francisco and Green Bay were the ‘giant' killers this week and provided Bookmakers with terrific results on NFL Sunday. College football was more to the bettors favor, but for us we here at http://www.betcris.com/, we did ‘grind' out a small profit, but I'm sure there were a few happy College bettors on the weekend.

NBA game totals have seen some huge action so far, and the movement in the totals in some games has been huge. We week of NBA was ok, but nothing special for us here, and game totals especially went the way of our players. Parlays and teasers were the options which really helped our bottom line. College basketball is now here and I can't say we have enjoyed Saturday or Sunday because of all the games scheduled along with a full College and NFL schedule, it was really a test to keep on top of all the games.

Best games for the house...

Maryland was all the rage Saturday from when it opened and until kick off. Maryland opened a 1 point favorite and closed a 3 point favorite. Luckily for us the game didn't land on a 2 or 3 point margin by Maryland or it would have really hurt, but the Maryland 14-13 score as it ended, was perfect for us.

We were bracing ourselves for a bad NFL Sunday with lots of 7 and higher point favorites, and considering our luck of late, we expected it to turn for the worst, but thankfully that didn't happen. Houston started the ball rolling with a 13-10 upset victory over Jacksonville after Jacksonville closed a 10 point favorite at home. Being the magical 10-11 point favorite meant that Jacksonville was involved in nearly all 7 and 10 point teasers.

Cleveland added to our great Sunday with a 17-13 victory against Atlanta at Atlanta. Many people disregarded Cleveland's recent play in the last few weeks and expected a huge victory by Atlanta, but it just didn't happen.

Best games for the public...

Our customers were all over Arkansas on Saturday driving the spread up from 3 ˝ when we opened it up to 5 at kick off. Tennessee U was never in the hunt and Arkansas won easily 31-14.

Hawaii continues to put up big numbers and destroyed Louisiana Tech 61-17. Hawaii was a large 37 ˝ point favorite but they covered by a touchdown to make many of our customers extremely happy.

Pittsburgh's victory over New Orleans was one of only a select few good games for our customers on Sunday. Pittsburgh was as low as a 4 point favorite but closed much higher at 6 ˝ points. They were in a great struggle with New Orleans but they finally got the cash 38-31.

Until next week,

Shane, Betcris Sports desk
