Weekly Review Oct 30th betcris

Weekly Review Oct 30th

Illinois nearly provided us with one of our biggest wins when they were leading at halftime 24-10 over Wisconsin on Saturday. One customer couldn't resist trying to pick up some easy money by betting Wisconsin straight up to win at -20000, he liked them so much that he risked $100,000 to win $5,000. I am sure he had some heart ‘issues' watching the game, but luckily for him, Wisconsin came back to win 30-24 mainly due to Illinois failing to score in the second half.

College football on Saturday provided selective bettors with some good results but here at http://www.betcris.com/ the volume of wagers placed was enough for us to have a good day. The week before Saturday belonged to our customers; however the big swing was on Sunday with the NFL having a great day for Bookmakers.

NHL was particularly good for our players especially those who bet parlays. The last two weeks our customers seem to be tuned in to NHL and so far they are getting the best of it.

Best games for the house...

Illinois was a terrific result, but as I stated earlier, had they won the game, it would have been terrific. Wisconsin closed at a 21 point favorite and -20000 on the money line, but they rallied late to win 30-24.

Philadelphia on Sunday was involved with nearly every Teaser and parlay placed by our players. Philadelphia opened a 6point favorite and closed higher at 8 points especially after Byron Lefwich could not start for Jacksonville. Philly couldn't stop Jacksonville's running backs though and Jacksonville won 13-6.

Dallas overcame a 14 point to 0 start against Carolina to win 35-14. Carolina was a 4 ˝ point favorite at home and being the Sunday night game, they attracted a lot of betting action. For Bookmakers, the last night game where the favorite loses is normally a great result.

Best games for the public...

The fighting Irish this year have had a lot of betting support. Notre Dame closed a 13 ˝ point favorite away to Navy but the spread was not a problem for them and easily won 38-14.

Another team this year which seems to have bettors eagerly waiting to bet them is Hawaii. Hawaii closed a large 25 point favorite and with them playing at home, our customers always love to bet them even the bettor's who have had a tough day betting and are looking to ‘get out'. Hawaii was indeed the ‘get out' game and easily covered the spread 68-10.

One of the lone good NFL Sunday games for our players was Green Bay's win over Arizona at home. Green Bay opened a 3 point favorite but closed a point higher at 4 points at kick-off. I'm not sure what happened to the Arizona team that should have won against Chicago two weeks ago and I'm sure they are asking themselves the same thing.

Until next week,

Shane, Betcris sports desk.
