Went to the "Big House" in Ann Arbor

My brother lives for Michigan football. ( I hate em) Anyway, his dream would be to see them play at the big house...I surprised him and took him to the game Saturday...WOW.....That place is fukn huge...Obviously, I knew that it seated 110, 000 plus, but to see it filled and the noise. I was very impressed. The student section is freakn enormous and kicked ass as far as participation goes. It was one of my "bucket list" sporting events that I wanted to do...and I was so happy I did.....Couldnt imagine seeing OSU or Notre Dame come in there to play.

I went there two years ago to see them play against Mich St. There were not done the renovations, so the crowd wasn't as large. However, it was really a cool place to watch a game. We parked at the golf course near the stadium and just partied all day.

Used to be a season ticket holder, but since have moved south. Great place to watch a game, but can get very tight when the cold weather hits and everybody is wearing snow suits!

Was there for Michigan/Ohio State in 1997, the year they split the national title with Nebraska. Charles Woodson was incredible, still the best game I have ever attended.

Seats are pretty close together...I haven't been to any college stadium larger than Kentucky's so I was overwelmed...others that have bigger stadiums might not have been so impressed.

I saw an Ohio st. game in Ann Arbor back in 2001.I lucked out and snagged some student section tickets. The Big House is a great stadium and if anyone ever gets a chance to go please do it what a great place to see a game.

I remember walking up to the stadium and thinking no way this place holds 110,000 people then once your in what an incredible walk down it is to the student section seats.

People see it from the outside and say no way, but once you get in and realize that the actual field is in a hole in the ground they realize. You actually walk into the stadium from street level around row 50 from most sides, and there used to be around 90 rows total. Not sure now with the addition of suites and the changes.

I find it to be slightly overrated as a venue.
