1st dumb thing: when you are rich like few others, you shouldnt evade taxes...

2nd dumb thing: when the greediness forces you to evade taxes, get a great tax accountant that had no 'ethic' lectures at college but wont make you go to jail...

sux for him...his accountant and lawyer fuked him with information regarding to taxes...but just like going to a doctor about a condition always get a 2nd opinion

no they did not....he agreed to a series of defenses that are considered fringe defenses by any credible tax attorney....

He would have been better off negotiating with them himself, then trying to fight something that has been upheld by the courts, since the institution of a true basic tax system that JQ Adams instituted

Bad advice by an attorney is only that....the decision is yours

that was what i was saying...get a 2nd opinion...his fault for sure by not seeking out the legitmacy of the lawyer's claims...does suck that you can't trust a professional though

agreed!!

but that is why you dont call your criminal attorney to handle your real estate matters...

Attorney are only there to give advice/council.....the problem is that when people want them to project and then get pissed when it does not come true...projection is nothing more then a hope
