All of the big city sports teams have people come out of the woodwork when they win

Pitt, Boston, Chicago come to mind

Miami (no offense Jack, and Im a HUGE Dolphin fan too) and Tampa. Just between the Dolphins being a die hard, its SOOOO frustrating being up here in Boston being such a big sports fan and seeing when they lose noone goes, but when they were good they go. Id be going to every game win or lose, and its mostly been lose lately. And Tampa is sad esp with the Drays now. They have NEVER gotten attendance and still to this day, are having trouble unless a popular team comes in. This having one of the most exciting teams in baseball, young talented, tons of pitching. Id be stoked if I were in that area with that teams future. But I think Florida in general has a ton of wagin jumpers....JMO

The Dolphins sell out regardless of winning/losing usually

The Marlins have never done well in attendance. I think biggest factors are

1. Most Florida people are transplants
2. Crazy weather and stadium issues
3. Crappy ownerships

But yeah, Florida does have a lot but both Marlins/Rays both don’t have the diehards that some other cities have because they were born and raised. Just not that many born and raised in Florida – I think is the #1 factor

But yeah when they win or it’s a big playoff event – the bandwagon seems to grow

This is a little off, but when it comes to soccer, I have to say the Portuguese...everytime they get knocked out of the world cup they bandwagon to Brazil or Argentina....makes me laugh....

Yea Jack with regards to the Fins games, they do sell out but the stadium has alot of no shows which there is no excuse for in the NFL, and if theyre down 13-7 at the half, 1/3 of the fans dont come back for the 2nd half and hit the beach. Their hasnt been a single game over the last 20+ years Ive watched, prob havent missed one in the last 10, that I dont wish I lived down their to grab up some seats Also I think #1 on your list is HUGE with attendance in Florida as a whole...

Hard to argue with that huscroft. Also think similar point with what Blaze said about LA. People go to the games in SFla to be seen, especially the Heat!

I have been a Dolphins season ticket holder for probably 15 years and your right – people leave early all the time! There was a time I didn’t miss a game. Now for the most part, I get rid of my tickets and don’t go all that much!

Last year was extra painful so that doesn’t count…… lol

There was only a few of us laker fans before shaq came.

Nick Van Exel #9 , Cedric Ciballos #23, Anthony Peeler #1, Vlade Divacs #12, Sedel Threat #3, AC Green #45, Elden Campbell #41

those are the players I rooted for. They werent winning at the time so 88% of todays laker fans have no idea these players were in LA.

Everyone is a laker fan before the finals this year too. Dont here a word about them now.

There are more boston redsox hats in southern california then any other hats.

94% of them have sore thumbs from their hair in thier eyes, whitewash jeans and usually an abrocrobie and fitch shirt lmao

Gaurantee they wouldnt even know who Mike Greenwell was if you asked them
