And that is my reason for looking for posted records, If I click on someones thread and all they have is a posted play well thats all it is, someones opinion.
I dont know if their on a roll, have a winning %, win streak/lose streak etc etc.

I always make my own calls, but if Im on a low roll it can give a bit more confidence on a play if you know someone else is on it with a winning %.

yeah i agree, and i like looking at plays from guys with posted records too - after awhile i know which guys keep records and which guys don't ...

For NBA & NHL there are the season long contests too, you can always see what guys are doing well in them, and see what their plays are each day.

Those are a couple things that I do, its something anyway

I think what I am looking for is good threads sports and non sports related. The regulars in my opinion that banter back and forth help make the site entertaining when things are slow in the sports world. I think some people take the site way to serious and lose sight of the purpose of a forum.

It would be nice to see Bettors Mall used more with insight type threads. Seannie Mac wrote a thread earlier this year that was a good read. Whether you agree with what was said or thought it was basic (common knowledge) added value to the site. A lot of people come to the site with limited capping experience and have no idea of some things to look for when capping. A lot can be learned through conversation between posters.

I dont think too much emphasis should be put on a guy's capping record; good streaks happen and bad years happen. And just cause someone has a bad year doesn't mean he doesn't know his sports or that he has bad informative tidbits, but yet he will be treated as such mostly.

True, but it is easy to distinguish a consistent capper from the rest of the group.

I am looking in to this possibility. But it would still be an optional thing
