What do you think--is it true, or a lie to get $$$?

Ive been wagering on the side for a few years now, i think of it as a hobby, and have used a few services over the years. I dont know what happened, but it seems that the minute i gave my cell number out to one capper, all of Las Vegas got my phone number. I was called all the time by some different capper saying he has the "inside info" or that he knows someone on a certain team, etc. I never gave them my $$$, am still being called by people i talked to one time 3 years ago, and am just wondering, is it just a ploy to lure clients, or do some actually have good info? I probably get 10 calls a week from new cappers saying they have the guaranteed "lock", and i usually just hang up on them, or dont answer. But I was just wondering if any of what they say is true, or if its just a big gimmick to get a few bucks? Just looking for your thoughts on what all the cappers say that solicit calls and such................Ive even got some guys that keep calling me, leaving harassing phone calls and such, and then ask me for $$$$-- can you believe that? It makes me laugh sometimes...........sheesh.........

Hey UT, I saw an interview once. A behind the scenes on these Vegas cappers. Apparently most of the type that call you over and over are "boiler room " types of setups. They hire people just to call and hand out any picks. No real research, no nothing. I'm much like you. A hobbyist but I wouldn't touch those guys with a ten foot pole to be honest.
