I believe they keep it until the trial is over & then it is returned to the individual. It is essentially something to ensure the person won't bail & will make every court date.

True! if you post your own bail without going through a bail bonds person you get all your bond money back after the case is settled. Just speaking from past experiences. lol

Bail bondsmen bank. I live across the street from one. He owns a few houses. He has new cars,tools,ect. Every couple of years he puts out several of them pod storage containers full of everything imaginable all new stuff and has a sale. I have quite a few items from them Big business
