What journalists or sports reporters do you trust?
With so many blogs, source reports & other garbage it seems more guys just take wild guesses.
Who do you trust when you hear a story or a report in sports? Who do you not trust & never gets it right? Discuss

Usually trust most of the team beat writers...and then with espn i think a lot of the guys like buster olney, etc are pretty reliable. Mike Lombardi and couple other NFL network guys pretty good too. Most opinion pieces splattered in with bits of fact I dont bother to read...Peter King being one of those

for fantasy football purposes, never trust "the Czar" (John Czarnacki). Dude is almost always wrong.

Who are you? Seal? Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man? Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright? |

I like the espn baseball guys, Olney, Kirkjan, Starks. I like John Clayton as well. He gives his opinion, but at least you know its his opinion. Guys like Adam Sheffter make it seem like their opinion is what is actually happening. If he thinks Mcnabb is a good fit for the Raiders he makes it seem like the Raiders are in deep talks with Mcnabb. Total BS. Clayton provides facts and then lets you know what he think could happen.

Ones I do trust are: Darren Dreger for hockey, Chris Mortenson for NFL football come to mind.
The ones I don't trust, well, that is a long list lol.
