What social or economic factors lead to successful betting?
What are the most important factors to being a successful handicapper/bettor from a social and economic background? I assume a job that affords plenty of spare time to spend both watching sports and working numbers is important....
Is a college education necessary? Are some people naturally gifted at handicapping games or is the excellence in math that important? Economically, would an average income be the most important? I think that anyone with too little expendable income would not have the means to try and fail and rebuild, and anyone with too much expendable income would not value their losses enough to work to avoid them..... Does being a former player/coach at any level of sports give a person an advantage in anyway? Or, does someone just need a broad understanding of how a game is played? |

I believe being successful at anything begins with a Hard Working Effort.
After that, you must be creative, savvy, and able to adapt to the changes within the gambling industry. This includes being able to get ahead of the industry whether it is through word of mouth, data intelligence, or by logic. If you do that, it should create a great gambling career of success and longevity.
