What is the Worst Straight Wager in Football?

I'm not talking about props, parlays, teasers or any of those other sucker bets that dump the odds way in favor of the book. I am talking about straight 11/10 wagers, or money line wagers. Now I know that for the vast majority of gamblers, just making a wager of any kind is the worst. That is why 85-88 of all players lose money each season. But aside from that, what do you think is the worst wager?

I'm not sure that I understand the question. You specified 110/100 wagers so I guess you are looking for a particular team or situation that would be the worst to bet on.

??????

Yes. I am looking for the worst wager that you think someone can make in a given situation. I eliminated the parlays, prop wagers, and teasers for obvious reasons. I'm just talking sides, or totals, 1/2 time wagers, quarter wagers, or other wagers that you would normally make at 11/10 or what ever vig your book charges you. It could be a team, though that would be very difficult to state, unless you said taking Notre Dame in a Bowl game or something. I was looking for a more general answer that does not apply to any one specific team.

I'd say betting on quarter lines in football. Anything can happen in one quarter. It's much easier to predict what will happen over the course of the complete game.
