What is your best moment...

of your betting career?

For me, it was 2 seasons ago, I woke up and logged in to my sports book account and checked the NBA games for that day, and to my amazement noticed a huge error! The T-Wolves were in Portland I believe, the Blazers were supposed to be -1600 favorites but were marked +1600 underdogs! I panicked and started placing large bets, made one parlay with big favorites. I checked back about an hour later and noticed they deleted the single bet with just the Blazers, but they missed the parlay. I can't exactly remember the teams or how much I had on the parlay, but I do remember I ended up winning over $3000 from the Blazers winning on this parlay which bumped my account from like $1000. to $4000. in one night. I feared they would catch the error, but they never did. I couldn't believe it. I tried going back into my history and find this to show you, but it wouldn't allow me to go back that far. I know some of you will think I'm full of shit, but this is a true story so don't tell me I'm full of shit.

mine would be taking 25 dollars given to me by a spotsbook and grinding my way to 825 making 10 dollar wagers on sports and events i had no knowledge of at the time during the 2004 olympics

and one outside of the realm of sports gambling would be winning a tournament that i used points to enter that ended up netting me 31 usd and change and grinding my way through the penny tables and small dollar mtts and sngs to build a solid bank roll...have never had to deposit money to play poker

Mine was probably when I was 14 playing poker. House rules paid what we called "royalties" where any natural 4-of-a-kind everyone at the table had to give a dollar, and natural straight flush everyone had to give 5 dollars.

We always played Showdown as the last hand of the night. Everyone puts in a dollar, 5 cards, best hand wins. I got dealt a 5-9 of hearts.

Oh, and my wife hit 10 grand on a 10X pay dollar machine at the Stardust a few years back, so that would be second

I missed 86 grand by one digit in the Georgia Fantasy 5 lottery. I had 4 of 5 and the 5th one was a 15 and I played 14.

On a sports lottery ticket probably over ten years ago I correctly picked 10 of 10 NFL ATS games, all picks based on gut feeling. I won $400 on a $2 ticket. Not that great of a payday, but just the pride of getting all ten or ten right was amazing. Never have come close to having that feeling since.

I think for me was winning a sports ticket that paid 175-1, and I didn't give it a chance, but low & behold it came in. I was on top of the world and felt invincible!

Isn't that the way it seems to go? I have had big days, then somewhere in the next few days you have just the opposite to bring you right back down.

James Harrison's interception in the super bowl!

Went from losing EVERY one of my 1st half bets to winning EVERY one of them. Went on a HUGE run to Friday to take out the biggest check I have seen from an offshore.
