What Is Your Opinion On Bodog?

I just recently started online sports betting and didnt no which sports book was best. I decided to go with Bodog but it seems lots of people use Betjam or 5dimes. Anyone have any bad experiences or opinions on Bodog?

would be the last sponsor i use from here but still an ok book especially for football underdogs

dont interest me much tho since their poker is virtually dead

Ya thats true, there poker is horrible. I use pokerstars or full tilt for that but bodog doesnt seem to be to bad of a bookie. Do you no how they are when it comes to payouts?

havent used them in awhile, prob 4 years, and it was mostly because they were littered with sports bettors thinking they could play poker

Haven't played with Bodog in years, but I didn't like their lines or the way the moved the vig all over the place. Give me 5 Dimes, Bookmaker, Greek, or BetJM all before Bodog.

I have always used them, I like them, they have fast payouts now, it used to take a while to get paid out but they fixed that now.

bodog takes forever to put up lines, forget hitting any sort of opener there, all you will get is when the market is fully adjusted

but you can usually get 1/2pt to a full point better there on alot of underdogs

goterps says they single out underdog bettors and shade their lines, dunno if thats true or not

i just dont think anything beats 5dimes or betjam for an overall book. their lines are up fast, .10 baseball lines, i think its .8 for 5dimes reduced, .5 on overnights

5dimes offers alot of props and many more wagering options

I have only used Pinnacle & Bet Jamaica, but I thought years ago Bodog got a bad rap for something. But, you could always go to: www.sportsbookreviews.com & see what they say, as they gave their grades/thoughts on all the books out there.

you dont have to worry about not getting paid by bodog, if thats your concern.

If you play alot of underdogs, i think its a good book for you and you'll get good lines, at least for awhile. If you play alot of favorites, you'll get better lines at another book.

Thanks for you replies. Im not much for betting on underdogs and have realized they seem to have the worst lines for favorites. Maybe ill have to give 5dimes a try ive heard alot of positive things about them besides the fact they makle it difficult for Canadian players to make a deposit. (Which happens that I am Canadian)

Not sure about the difference between us and canadien players, but i use both betfirstclass and betjamaica and like both

I use a bodog, 5dimes, betjm, and a local. Bodog has great underdog lines, otherwise its useless. 5dimes and betjm are better. If you're Canadian, you should be using Pinnacle!
