Lightbulb What was your worst loss ever in gambling?

Not $$$ wise but bad beat wise. The ticket that was ready to cash and then comes the play that you got bent over on. The end of the Auburn/Fla game last night got me thinking.

For me it was the Duke/UCONN semifinal in the tourney. Duhon hit that seemingly meaningless 3 from 3/4 court to cut the game to 1.

I had big $$ on UCONN and was giving a point and a half.

I dont think that shot was from that far away, maybe 35 feet. Worst loss ever for me was this past baseball season.

Had the Under in an orioles/marlins game. Had 6 runs to spare in the 9th and the Orioles proceeded to get the over with 2 outs.

Redskins about 15 years ago. They had recovered a fumble on the two yard line. Joe Gibbs elected to run the clock out with something over two minutes left. He had the qb take a knee three straight times. All he had to do was ram it in with a dive to cover the spread...It was the closest I came to driving to D.C. to confront a coach.
