What's the one thing about getting old that has bothered you the most?

As I close in on another birthday, I can't help but think that getting old is a b*tch. Lots of things that I hate but the one that bothers me the most is fatigue. Not long ago I could stay up past 11pm without yawning. Not anymore. Going to bed early is almost as appealing as a night out drinking these days.

I don't have a problem staying up late, but hangovers are worse and last longer now.

Just had to buy some reading glasses

My far vision is still 20/20, but near vision trying to read a book or paper has gone down considerably

I have to piss every hour.
I need help getting up after taking a dump.
I'm sleepy by 10pm.
Getting a hard on makes me dizzy.

Reflex, just not able to respond as quick. These Golden Years are getting very tarnished.

I will be 56 in November and can honestly say Im not really bothered by anything as im getting older. Right now Im at the point where im looking forward to getting even older so I can retire(6 more years!). The main thing is my health is still good so hopefully can enjoy many years of retirement. I dont drink anymore so dont need to worry about hangovers(hint:smoking weed doesnt give you a hangover and its a quicker better buzz). I obviously cant do as much now as when I was younger, but I still play softball and golf but it doesnt bother me that I cant play them as much anymore. Now most of my spare time is spent studying the horses and watching horse racing. All in all life is good even as I get older...

I guess im just too close to retirement to be bothered by anything. Im looking forward to things. If i was asked this question 10-15 years ago, would have had a completely different answer...

No days off. I retired 5 years ago and have not had one day off since. Don't retire!!!!! When I get up at 3:00 am, I have nothing to do. When I go to bed at 11:30 pm, I'm only half done.

Just not a big drinker anymore, smoke weed maybe once every 3 months and even then it's a quick haul and that's plenty. What is happening to me
