surprised so many shave before showering. hot shower softens up your skin and opens up the pores a bit - makes it much easier to get a good shave.

I'm an after shower guy right now, but in shower definitely the best way, just don't have a mirror in my upstairs shower. And its too cold to shower in the basement during winter
