When golfing, which is your "GO To" club?

Now that golf season is past the halfway point where I live (yeah, I know, sad) and I'm getting in my last few rounds (yeah, I only go golfing maybe 5-7 times per season), here is a golf related poll:

Which club in your bag is your go-to stick, the one that you have no problems hitting consistently and successfully?

All of mine are similar, but if I had to choose, my 4 Iron and SW are probably my best.

I'd have to say I have two clubs - my 8 iron and my 7 wood... When I can't get off the tee, I drop back and hit my 7 wood which will get me 220 - 240 yds (so a few less yards into the woods). My 8 iron is my comfort club - I'll chip with it, bump and run with it, etc...

2 iron? That's gotta be one of the toughest clubs to hit.

4 wood for me. Long and straight. I'll switch to it off the tee if my driver starts leaking.

Driver is money for me, but my 56 is the club, especially greenside. I get up and down with that club majority of the time.

I know - I don't get it either... I've just hit it smooth and straight every time - although I'm finding that I am using it less and less - guess it's the courses... who knows.

buddy of mine has a Ping Eye-2 1-iron with a graphite shaft (uses metal obv as he's not 40 yet) that he found in a parking lot as a teenager that he just hits smooth every time... he even ran over it with his car once...

You're huge with your 7 wood, 25-28 deg going that far is great to have.
