When it rains, it pours.
Havent been around much since I found out last week that my dad has a couple of weeks to live and then today my best friend for the last 15 years died in a work accident. These are the times that really test a guys faith. Prayers for his two kids and two grandkids appreciated. Peace,

Gandolph, my thoughts and prayers are with you. While all seems bleak now, you have been given the blessing of being able to spend the final days with your Dad on earth. Many of us wish we had that chance concerning the passing of loved ones. When they pass suddenly, too often many unanswered questions and things left unsaid tend to overburden us. I'm sure your Dad wants you to go on in peace and happiness after he is gone.
I went through about 6 months with my grandfather knowing the end was looming. But, it was much easier to get through then the sudden passing of others near to me. May God grant you the wisdom and strength to make it through this difficult time. Lean on Him and your friends and family. There will be better days ahead.
