This is what pisses me off...I pay to be a member of a recruiting site and they are all over football...they have already listed 70 + recruits that Auburn is recruiting for football....but nothing for bball...when we signed Shawn Kemp Jr last year it was a complete suprise...as was everyone else on the list...I know Football is king at Auburn..but we have a new coliseum coming up and we have beat our rival 6 out of the last 7 games...

It should be better

Rivals and Scout have the most in-depth pages from a national perspective.

Are you looking to follow recruiting from a national perspective, or just one certain college? For instance, I follow recruiting. However, I visit sites such as TerpTown and Terrapin Times because I care about what the Maryland Terrapins are doing first. Some of the time, following there will lead to what is going on nationally because some of the players in Maryland's radar go elsewhere, ect.

Another way I was able to follow recruiting in basketball was because of the area I grew up in (dc/baltimroe area). There were always AAU tournaments, and local private high school games (oak hill was right near by) that it was not hard to really follow basketball recruiting. As for football, just keeping up to date where the athletes are going for their summer camps and reading those reports.

As for which I follow more. I go with football because it is more interesting and exciting. Basketball a college will only get 1-5 athletes, most of the time its like 2 or 3. Not too exciting. Its interesting to see a football team recruit for 22 positions.

I think kids change their minds too often that I don't really follow the recruiting scene till after they have committed.
