Who is the greatest entertainer in the world today?

Was pretty universal that Michael Jackson was the greatest living "entertainer" of our time, and maybe all time. Not getting into all the other issues, just the entertainment part of it

Now that he is gone, Who would be the greatest living entertainer in the world today?

I have seen Prince a couple times, Don't know if he is the greatest, but he plays like 20 instruments and is a musical genius.

Trying to keep this somewhat serious so Mistaflava's kid should not be one of the nominees.

^^^^^^^^^

PS. Spent a week in St. Paul last month. Nice people, but probably the worst food I've ever eaten.

if you mean in terms of whose death would bring about as close of a reaction as there was to Michael Jackson, then I would say Paul McCartney, with Elton John a close second. And then of course Neil Diamond

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

I would agree with this if it were a lifetime achievement award but none of these guys are currently the "greatest entertainer in the world".

I did qualify my answer. And upon death, it would become a "lifetime achievement" award. Whose death in entertainment (worldwide) would be bigger news ? I don't think anyone comes close to Sirs Paul and Elton. If you are measuring in terms of $$$ they make (concerts, sales, etc...) I think they are tops.

And Neil Diamond of course.
