Who are some famous people you have met?

Me several but the ones that stick out the most. In 1992 or thereabouts I sat with Dale Murphy Phil Niekro Joe Niekto at a Braves game I bought a ticket from a scalper and it turned out to be one of Kent Merckers tickets in the player family section. When the game ended this lady runs up to me and said "you have got to be a Glavine" I said yes mam which at that point she knew I was lying as I have a heavy accent and it aint from up north.

The cast of the Police Academy movies, the Academy building in the films was a 5 minute walk from my old house, half expected Bobcat to speak the way he does in the films, lol, all were great and didn't mind signing a few autographs.

I used to work for Dave McNally. Him and his bro owned a car dealership here. Dave passed away a few years ago--cancer. Was a very nice/quiet guy. Little trivia for ya--he's still the only pitcher to have hit a Grand Slam in the World Series. There is a statue outside our local stadium of Dave. Pretty cool.

Not sure if any of you remember Jeff Ballard--also a pitcher for the O's, like McNally--but he's from Billings, MT too. I umpire Legion baseball and he's on the board--see him all the time.

Used to sneak into the old Rose Garden in Portland for morning shoot-arounds.
Got James Worthy, Mitch Kupchak, Pat Riley & David Rivers autograph. Got a pic w/ Karl Malone. Stockton wouldn't even acknowledge us.

Shook Tommy Lasorda's hand @ a Dodger/Braves game 3-4 years ago in LA.

Was walking thru old McNichols Arena in Denver w/ my bro one time. He said, "go find a ball." Walked into a tunnel and went into the Nuggets locker room. Alex English and TR Dunn were getting treatments from a trainer. TR Dunn is the blackest human being I've ever seen.

Oh, the same day I met Lasorda I pissed next to Larry King. Dude looked like he was about 115 years old. Needless to say, I didn't shake his hand. Those dugout seats kicked ass.
