Question Who will go down in history as the greater tennis player Sampras or Agassi?

Sampras has twice as many slams, but never won the French. AA won all four.
Both will go down as greats, but who you got?

Close call IMO, Sampras never even made a final at the French Open, in all those attempts. But will give it to Sampras just.

sampras and fed have about the same amount of majors, and dominated for about the same amount of time

but id give the edge to federer, best ever probably

but sampras/fed, is a lot closer than sampras/agassi

The true greats can win on any surface. Sampras stunk it up on clay, thats the main factor which makes the AA matchup pretty close, JMO.

Would you say Michael Bevan is not one of the greats in the game of cricket because he was a below average test match player?

Yes I certainly would. Test cricket is the highest and most significant level of cricket.
