I don't think it will. The old Moss maybe, the Moss the Vikings are getting maybe but not the Moss who has been showing up in New England. If you trade someone who is not giving effort you don't lose all that much

PS I hope they lose every game

i think it hampers them. no deep threat anymore on the team. when they go to play the jets again. revis can key on welker or hernandez and they can bring safeties up to help against the short pass.

the new england offense didnt exactly look good against the dolphins. turnovers and special teams won them that game and for the 2nd half of the jets game they looked terrible. and they beat the bills in between, big whoop.

their offense is nowhere near the offense of past years. they are in trouble. i think they are looking into the future now with that big draft coming up for them along with brady resigned.

i think from an organizational standpoint, they know that their defense probably wont be good enough now to win them a superbowl and their first dynasty run in over and they are reloading to make another run with brady and belicheck runnning the show.

Amazing how this guy can just shut it down when he is ready, I dont think it will hurt the Pats.

I don't think New England makes this trade unless they are comfortable with what they have. Bellicheck is a smart man and I think he knows what he is doing here, and my guess is, he believes Tate can step in.

Hard to say... look back to pat/giant SB when they just tried to fling it 50 yards down the field to moss every play till they realized they were losing... lol

Dont think this hurts at all and I am a Pats fan. Moss hasnt been showing up for quite some time. Constantly taking plays off and showing little effort. Been a cancer in the locker room over the whole contract situation, which I dont blame him. They got what they could now, knowing that he was packing it in.

And remember when they won 3 out of 4 superbowls, they didnt have a deep threat JSI, or a big name WR. They had David Patten, Troy Brown, Deion Branch, David Givens, and Bethel Johnson. They have won without him before, no reason they cant do it now. If they have an unsuccessful season it will not be because of the offense and losing Randy Moss, it will be because of the young defense. And also, if anything this move helps the defense, because the Pats wont be as explosive. The offense will have longer sustained drives with more focus on the run game and short passes keeping that defense off the field.

moss is one of the best we have all seen at the position
any team he leaves is that ' less good '
and any team he joins is that same amount better

don't care about off field stuff with him
they play the game On the field
