Yes, but not a first ballot. He'll be forever linked to the ROID era as is Palmero, Bonds, McGwire, etc.

Never proved roids. 600 homers. Iconic figure for 7-year period before it got tainted. Forever remebered for the Mcgwire home run race. Good RBI and stolen base numbers.

Overrated? Yes. Good fielder? No. Good teammate? No.
HOF in todays standards? Yes. The numbers will be so far ahead of so many in there already, and Baseball looooves numers.

no.....250 Homers tops without steroids....we saw just how badly he fell this year when testing started...quite frankly, HE SUCKED...

Also, wrigley added some homers to his total as well

I dont see how you can measure how many homers he would have had without steroids, plus never proven he did take steroids, although much speculation. Hes a for sure hall of famer.

You are correct sir. Numbers.

Palmerio is different, he was caught. Lets be honest, if Big Mac is in, Sammy is in. His overall numbers are better

Remeber, this debate is will he get in, not "do you like Sammy Sosa"

Yes and I think he will be very close to making it on the first ballot. Nothing has been proven about his steroids use. Just heresay.
