Willie Nelson Busted For Drugs
Singer And Crew Issued Misdemeanor Citations For Possession
BREAUX BRIDGE, La., Sept. 18, 2006 AP) Willie Nelson and some of the others on his bus have been cited for misdemeanor drug possession. Louisiana state troopers say they smelled a strong odor of marijuana from a bus pulled over in a traffic stop. A search of the vehicle allegedly turned up 1 1/2 pounds of marijuana and two-tenths of a pound of mushrooms. Nelson was cited for possession of mushrooms and possession of marijuana. The same citations were also issued for his sister, Bobbie Nelson, and for Tony Sizemore, Gates Moore and David Anderson. All have been released.

he got busted a few years ago at a rest stop asleep in his car with a couple of oz's of pot on I35 just outside of Hillsboro,tx. Leave the guy alone, he's not hurting anyone and he's a happy old man.....At least he's not commiting any serious crimes like violating the 1961 wire act.

These hillbilly cops are a___holes. Willie and his friends are like 70. If they want to play hillbilly music and smoke and trip off of shrooms then let them! Its same w/ Snoop Dogg. Leave him alone! If he wants to smoke then so be it. Pot heads smoke, order a pizza and listen to Jimi Hendrix. Big f___in deal! I've noticed a lot of cops on 76 this morning. Its getting to be that time of month to meet the quotas.

Come on! Come on! When will the war on drugs end?
 Doesn't Louisiana's cops have better things to do? Like ticketing jaywalkers, during Mardi gras, or getting that state up and running after the storms? Pulling over a bus full of country singers, is profiling.And profiling is WRONG!!!!
