I have tried to download them on bit torrent but all of them are corupt on there. I got my copy from a local friend.

The days of copying and downloading operating systems for free are long gone IMO. If you have any desire for your computer to work right you need to go spend some money and get a legit copy from Microsoft, if anything just for the peace of mind you get from security updates. Czar this really is the one place where you can't skimp and try and get off cheap.

I have used a pirated version of XP for years and now I cant log into Limewire, any Poker client, Outlook or Thunderbird, nor can I use any internet browser outside IE

by the way for you who can I highly recommend Opera or Maxthon

I do not recommend using a pirated OS

I dont know what it is, but soon I will fork over the cash for a legal copy
