Woke up to a foot of water in the basement!!

The county I live in has reports of 7.5 inches of rain over the past day and it flooded my basement. I don't have a sump pump or french drain. I'm so pissed off and woke up at 3am to take a piss only to discover it.

Luckily the drain is starting to lower the water level, but waiting for my dad to bring over a pump.

This shit sucks ass.

As long as it didn't short out your Direct TV. A lot of games this weekend. Hope things dry up.

Still phukin pouring here in CT. If my basement floods, I'm stocking it with gold fish, sitting on the steps, smoking a joint, and watching it until it dries.

We had that happen once in our basement, but we made some corrections in the backyard & patio area. Added some protection on the roof & surrounding area, so any water when it pissed poured would go on the lawn & no where close to the basement area much less patio.

Drove from Fl to Mass, Wed overnight into Thurs and it was nothing but a downpour. The only place it wasn't raining was in the Bronx and that place could use a good washing. Sh*t hasn't stopped.

That's down the beach. Most homes up here have basements.

However, the water was out yesterday around noon, so now just running the fan and dehumidifier. Basement is looking good.
