that is just way to common nowadays. Sentancing for criminals is so out of whack in the US. You could kill 1-4 people drunk driving and not get 5 years specially in Maryland where a DWI death is usually 18months max which is a stretch.

My wife has a good friend who had a her daughter with the babysitter went to a friends house and left the baby in the car for 4 hrs. in the hot sun.
The baby died. I say good that the lady was arrested.

Wildman told police she had consumed Xanax, four or five beers, cocaine and marijuana in a 12-hour period before Savanna died in April 2004.......the woman should have got more than 5 yrs....but she pleaded guilty , must have been part of a plea bargain

A woman near toronto just murdered her 2 children then tried to commit suicide but lived. Guess she couldn't do herself which is probably her best punishment hope she lives a long life
