i've only hit a trifecta once at del mar

$2 bet won $380

this year i missed a trifecta by one horse....got 1st, 2nd and the horse i needed in 3rd got 4th

damn nice hit. mine was all favs, like 3-5, 2-1, 5-1. harness racing baby lol.

i missed 2 today by one horse as well dave, same scenario for $5.

i never knew really how hard it is to hit them things until you just keep losing them and some of mine werent even close. the close ones really hurt tho. the 1 $5 i missed would have paid me just over $650

yeah it's real hard. and people that know horse racing would probably consider it a sucker bet but i just go to the track for fun.

the best thing to do is to box them...a $2 trifecta box costs $12

nothing sucks worse than picking the top 3 but in the wrong order

my friend bets horses and he said dont box. just go with like $10-$20 exactas, $5 trifecas, and hope to connect. he won like 400 doing that. he hit 3 exactas.

boxing costs too much money and doesnt pay as good IMO.
