Thumbs up Wonderlic Testing (attn: The Judge)

Cmon now, are we serious? making a big deal about a stupid test that has NOTHING to do w/reading defenses, calling plays etc. who cares if a person leaves on a train going 50mph headed east, etc...

Sample Question (kinda tough, you need to look closely)
How many of the five pairs of items listed below are exact duplicates?
Nieman, K.M. Neiman, K.M.
Thomas, G.K. Thomas, C.K.
Hoff, J.P. Hoff, J.P.
Pino, L.R. Pina, L.R.
Warner, T.S. Wanner, T.S.

Vince Young's Draft Slot SHOULD NOT CHANGE. I bet "The Judge" WAs pis*ed about this. Keep ya head up Judge, he's still the Man!

I think Vince Young is getting a bad rap over this but let me name two players that scored almost as bad as Vince Young on this test.

Jim Druckenmiller & Brock Berlin

What does it all mean? I guess we will find out soon enough. The one thing Young has that the above didn’t is amazing athleticism.

I saw one of the questions on the test that they published... I believe it read, "if a store sells 6 inches of rope for 10 cents and you ten feet of rope, how much will it cost you?"

it's said, because he actually has three years of college under his belt

It's SAID?

BTW, those were not the actual questions from the test. It is widely suspected that some agents have copies of the test and give it to their players to study.

This clears up why Vince got the low score then

Vince's agent did not even prep him for the test. My point is, how many players have received copies of the test to study and what are their scores even with that advantage?

Vince is not a dummy, regardless of his scores on this test. I have met him twice and he is a polite and well spoken young man. Not a thug like so many college players these days. Marcus Vick comes to mind.

Goin' for the hat-trick, baby! Never been done before that a school holds the championship for Baseball, Football and Basketball simultaneously and we have a decent shot. Not good, but decent.

Look at the big picture.

A lot of people go to university/college to learn things that they will NEVER use again after graduation. Why do prospective employers prefer university graduates over college graduates??? Higher intelligence level.

Everyone knows that university courses are much much more intense than college courses. If you are able to obtain your degree, it obviously shows that you have the ability to learn new things. No one graduates and have a tailored made job waiting for them in the real world. Employers want to mould the graduate to fit the job.

If Vince scored so poorly on the test, does he really have the smarts to learn a pro offense and learn to dissect opposing defenses???

That is the $50M questions that GMs will attempt to answer come draft day.

There has been talk that the Texas offensive playbook was condensed so that Vince can run it efficiently. Perhaps that is why he rushed the ball so often.

Does any one know what Michael Vick scored on his test??
