Work-out Supplements

Anybody have any suggestions for a good workout supplement to increase muscle growth? Or does anybody have a good stack to take? (non-anabolic of course)

I am taking whey protein right now, but it doesn't seem to be working that much.

thanx

I use a combination of whey protein and creatine....protein in the morning and after I work out. Creatine right before bed. Been working well for me since I started combining the two (about 2 months now).

Regardless you're not going to "magically" gain 10lbs. of muscle in two weeks....it takes time and a consistent workout schedule.

Buddy, you know the Cat has everything you need. lol Seriously though, i can give you some good info and some suggestions. I am a dedicated weightlifter. I have done my share of research of about every supplement out there and what works and what doesnt. Too much for me to type in here. I'll try and get it to you. -Cat

PS. you are on the right track with the Whey protein. Its all about eating right. You have to get a certain number of grams of protein a day or you will not grow, its that simple.

It has to work for you whatever it is. Mine is probably no better no worse than the previous suggestion. I agree with that for the most part.

I take the Creatine and Glutamine before, during and after a workout. One of the three by itslef would probably work, but I always get a drink in between exercises so why not take the stuff at the same time.

nothing to add on the Kid's Protein take.

As for the Creatine/Glutamine, my friends that is a GNC manager and way into working out gave me that one. If he had to choose one, it would be Glutamine. They're both doing the same thing, just a preference.

Yeah, I only take CLA during the winter until spring, I'm pretty lean now, about 12% body fat, but looking to get back to 9% by beach season. And, it's a good, natural way to help burn fat.
