Worst High School Team Ever

For curiosity sakes, I went and watched a high school football team that every year is in the running for the worst team in the state. Forever I had wanted to see how really bad they could possibly be. I had also wanted to see the Indiana Deaf School play just to see how they communicated to each other. I got there 45 minutes early and there were two people in the stands on the home side and none on the visiting. With 20 minutes there were 10 people and then some more trcikled in as the game started. Edinburgh, ranked 313 out of 314, dressed 16 kids. The Deaf School dressed about thirty. Halftime was 8-0 Deaf School. Final score was 33-6 Deaf School. It was so sad to see these kids play at this level. There is no doubt in my mind that there are 8th grade teams that would beat this team. The band was even terrible. Oh, the Deaf School ranking was 309. It was neat to see how alert the kids from the Deaf School were during the game.

damn Kat, where does the deaf school play? I need to go check them out. I bet they are great at stealing plays from the other sidelines

I'm not sure where there home games are played. I would have thought that there would have been some late hit calls, but I didn't see anything out of the ordinary....If Warren played Edinburgh, they would literally score on every play.....Seriously!

I apologize if that sounded like ripping on them. I meant to say that it was very sad that these kids and community have to endure this same old story year in and year out. Every game through the past ten years have been blow outs. Im going to guess that the average score is 60-5. Most of the teams don't play any starters the second half and they keep the clock running. Since you chimed in about this, I will tell you another reaon for me going. I played football and track at a small college 10 miles from this place. I only went to college for two years. I was thinking about going back to school and eventually coaching. I want to be there coach! I really think that I could turn the priogram around and at least be competitive. So, you might be credited with pushing me even faster to live out my dream! Speaking of real football, we have in Indy a team that might be the best team in the nation. The school is Warren Central....I would put them up against any team...Yes, they would even beat HOOVER.....
