Worst Streaks/Beats You've Ever Witnessed

I think this would be an interesting thread. This story has been verified by several people...

My cousin went to Las Vegas with his friend who had a "system" for roulette. His system was to bet black for $200, and if he lost, double the bet. His system entaled doubling his bet every time he lost. He did this over and over and over again... the board came up red 11 straight times. My cousin's friend turned right around, right back to the airport, and flew back to Chicago.

He never would have been able to wager over the table limit, unless he got an O.K. from the Casino Manager, and there is no way the Casino Manager would allow him to win everything back on one spin, unless he knew this guy, and knew that this guy was a big loser.

Getting back to the topic at hand, the worst streak I ever saw was a friend of mine wo lost 22 straight hands at blackjack. Fortunately, he was not a real high roller, so he did not lose his shirt. The worst beat I have ever suffered was losing a poker hand holding 4 Queens. I lost to 4 Kings. I once witnessed a guy who lost on 4 Jacks to 4 aces, and 7 or 8 hands later, beat the same guy when the cards were reversed. These were in 7 card Stud games, so the chances of that happening were astronomical.

that would make no sense though

bet $200, down $200
bet $400, down $600
bet $600, down $1200
bet $800, down $2000
bet $1000, down $3000

the whole purpose of doubling the bet is to not be in the negative

my first week in Vegas I saw black come up 13 times in a row in roulette, now I wasnt betting huge amounts or doubling everytime so its not like the OP, however it did come up 13 straight times.

I took about $400 to the Casino a few months ago and was down to my last quarter playing $25 blackjack. I worked it back to $175 and went and sat at 4 card poker, got a straight flush twice and a bunch of 3 of a kind hands in about 2 hours. Had it up to $1800 and some change and was just going to play the $50 blackjack tables for a while and leave.

First 5 hands I played I lost and it wasn't just routine losing, dealer was pulling all kinds of shit. I got pissed and played 2 $400 hands. Got 8/8 on both spots against a dealer 5. I told myself just wave the ****ing thing and take your chances. I split both and got 10/10 Ace/7 to make 18/18 19/15. Dealer flipped a 4 and I let out a groan...cards finished up like this....3,2,A,A,5. Guy beside me spilled his banana milkshake and everyone went silent. Felt like everyone at the table just sat and looked at all the cards for about a minute. Had my gf and a few friends with me...swear to god no one said a word on the 40 minute drive home.
