Question Would anyone compete in a year long contest?

I mean year long from Jan 1 to Dec 31, 2007 in the major sports only with some guidelines to be decided.

An entry fee of $10, $25 or $100 – I am thinking.
100% goes to prize pool plus we would add some bonus prizes

Would anyone do this?

I'm in.....maybe there can be a monthly bonus prize to keep people interested.........Think a contest of handicapping for a year would be challenging , fun and a true test of one's skill...Lets get it on!!!!

A year may be too long.

It would mean that a participant must have access to a computer daily.
That may mean the end of camping and overseas vacations.

Doesn't have to be daily. Could be like totals for a week or something.
I would be interested.

very interesting idea. I agree with others that people that dont have access daily or have alot of vaca time would be at a disadvantage, but would be interested to see what the rules are
