Would you go to the same college if u had it over ?

i know , woulda coulda shoulda

but I have often wondered how or if things would have been different had I gone to college somewhere other than where I did, which was in my hometown.

Would have I lost focus somewhere else worse than I did or would I have made better decisions and focused more in a place where i was less comfortable ?

This comes to mind as my kids are all in that pre or post college range and when I look back it seems that much of your remaining life can be determined by decisions made at such a young age.

college (1982-1986) seems like a different lifetime ago for me. And I'm only 46. LOL

I wouldn't change anything.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

Did not get my undergrad til I was almost 30 class of 97. I was a young father and was only able to complete education by traveling back and forth long distances. The only thing I would change would be to to go when I was younger and when it was cheaper

i went to the college i wanted to go to, but i was offered several scholarships to play baseball for a couple other smaller schools. i thought, well i'm not going to make money playing baseball so i better get my degree from a more prestigious school. i wish i had taken one of those offers to play. hell my job has ZERO to do with my degree anyway.

Would have went to a more difficult undergrad (which would have required doing better in high school). Now that I'm at my dream graduate school, my undergrad hasn't really prepared me well enough.

Changed from Ole Miss to South Alabama, 20-something years ago. Did it for a girl, which was soooooooooooooo f'n stupid.

First thought: wish I'd finished at Mississippi.

Second thought: many things I love about my life now might be different, so I'd hate to change it.

Third thought: some things could have been different and better, probably not, but who knows? I certainly like the people I met and the person I became through my experiences.
