Do you have a real tree or artificial ??

if you get a real tree .. do you cut it yourself ?? or just buy one pre- cut ??

when do you usually put it up/take down ??

we usually put our tree up around the 1st week of december and take it down usually jan 2 or 3

the rule we had was the tree came down after the college championship game .. nowadays the game is played so late into jan, the tree has to come down before then because it starts takin a shit losin needles and makin a mess everywhere

We started putting up the decorations today. We did the basement & the living room/hall way area. Now, the only thing left is to do the tree which will either be done on the weekend or next week.

As for tinsel, we definitely use it, as it sparkles & in my opinion makes the tree look like a beauty.

Fake tree with tinsel. But it was more fun hanging the outside lights on the 8 foot step ladder. On the very top, tippee toes, reaching for the gutters... brought home an extension ladder today (not much safer) - still fun with a 12-pack
