Yard Sales anyone?

Anybody like to roam these (yard/garage/rummage/moving...) sales or have one once in a while?

I used to hold 1-4 per year cuz I took all that was left behind when I painted apartments/houses. Now I prefer to to roam and hunt for collectible toys, military or music books, antique architectural house mouldings, odd windows, painted glass, etc.

Last Saturday was THE GREAT GLEBE GARAGE SALE in my city which they hold once per year. I'm not sure how many merchants or city blocks but it's huge...and the traffic/shoppers is aplenty. I had to stop at noon cuz there was simply way too many people. I spent $20 and came back with a dozen military hardcover books ($1 or less) and a few odds & ends.

There's another high-end city sector yard sale coming up in the next few weeks. I'm Looking forward to it as I distribute my biz cards to most stops too.

Have about one every two years and go to them every other week. Once you start having kids it becomes routine.

Just stuff we accumulate.Got some like new deck chairs 3 for 35 bucks the other day.Sunbeam with cushions easy 200 worth of chairs.I love garage sales.

I got some good tools once at a yard sale. Some real nice wrenches for like $8.00 for like 30 of them.

When I was a kid I used to go to them. But havn't been for years as can find anything and everything I want online, mostly on trademe a site here that is similar to your ebay over there.
