Unhappy The year of the Yankees

Although I don't like them, Yankees probably win the World Series this year. They are only 4/1 at Bookmaker so no value but can't see anyone else coming out of the American League at least. Even money to win the AL East seems to be a no brainer as well

Their achilles heel from last year is still their achilles heel

I have no confidence in any of their pitchers to get from their starters to Rivera. Yesterday was another prime example.

I would not put a dollar on them myself. I think they have way too many question marks and I think their division as a whole is alot better than last year

If Burnett goes down and history says he will, they are REALLY in trouble

Yankees spend more money then others so they should win every year. They are the over paid babies who play a sport that is horrible to watch. The system baseball uses in spending caps is beyond stupid.

Gonna have to get by with no middle relief as seen by yesterday. And with 1 Joba/Wang/AJ inj, and theyve all have their history, having Hughes as next in line is scary.

The year for the Yankees is passed and Hank and his bunch really can not do much about it. Many of the players are older (Posada - 38, Jeter - 35, Damon - 36, Nady - 31, Matsui - 35, Burnett - 32, Petitte - 37, Rivera - 39, just to name a few). They may, highly unlikely, make the playoffs. If they do, they wont go far!
